St George’s has a long tradition as a missionary sending church. In an ever-changing world there is still a need for people to go overseas, often working alongside the indigenous church. St George’s supports the following mission partners through prayer, finances and pastoral care.
Howard & Janet with ACT in Morocco
Howard is General Director of ACT, a Tunisian based Christian development agency working among the marginalised and vulnerable. They have previously served in Morocco, London, and Tunisia. They have been our partners since 1984.

Kisiizi Hospital, Uganda
Kisiizi Hospital is a Christian hospital in South-West Uganda serving the needs of a the poor. It is run by the Church of Uganda. It also supports a School of Nursing and a school for children aged 4 to 15 years.

Sam & Vicky Ngorok at St John’s Church Iriiri, Uganda
Sam & Vicky minister in the north of Uganda in the Karamoja region. Theirs is a poor rural area, with few facilities. As a church we have funded the building of a church, vicarage, a bore hole and water pump which serves the area, as well as various relief efforts. See Friends of St John’s Iriiri on Facebook

Pete & Carol working with Catalyst Network in Turkey
Pete & Carol became partners in November 2014. They have been working as church-planters in Turkey since 1999. They have recently moved to Istanbul to help plant a new church congregation in the Acibadem area in autumn 2015.
